Many of our customers sign up to our monthly maintenance package, either for convenience or because they don’t have the time to acquire the skills to carry these things out themselves. Some customers get on just fine doing things themselves – we don’t believe in tying people in to things they don’t want or need. We have offers you can take up or leave. Where updates and maintenance are not performed, sites start to glitch and over time they can fail – resulting in more costly bills to put right months of lack of attention.
We can provide a monthly download and installation service for updates of all the software that makes your website where we put your site into maintenance mode in low traffic hours. We install and test the updates which sometimes cause issues, and the service includes one hour’s free labour if we have to sort out whatever problems the new updates might create. We take a backup of your site at that point and keep it offline so that each month there is a record of your data, should something catastrophic occur or a third party software provider experience major issues, we can restore your data for you to the last known back up point. More sophisticated backup options are available along with 24/7 monitoring for sites where this is important.
